Resumo:
Most university students today have grown up with access to computers and the Internet. Many of them have played video games and listened to music while completing school assignments. The way students respond to and incorporate information has changed completely from a generation ago. Yet, we are teaching in much the same way as a century ago.
This provocative session will be an opportunity to consider the realities confronting today’s university classroom and to discuss recent trends and research about effective teaching for successful learning.
